Minx Madness

Yes, it's been quite a bit. But I've been a productive little bee as you'll see.

Post-sex scene, which I have been naughtily remiss about, Minx madness has taken lesbians by storm. And by 'lesbians,' I mean the handful I know on Twitter (Follow me!) and AfterEllen, whose fanaticism alone could energize a nuclear submarine. 

We are an intense group. No, scratch that. We are fucking obsessed. 

But in a nice, good, completely harmless way, as MOST fangirls are. (Seriously, WTF was her deal? It's Marion Cotillard. You just don't mess with her; she's a goddess!)

But really, it's Christina Bennett Lind and Sarah Glendening who have consistently taken Minx to another level--by actively supporting the LGBTQ community, being among the first to voice their anger at bigotry, and connecting with their fans in such a genuine, appreciative way. In this respect, I feel that we've all been blessed by AMC to have the most beautiful and intelligent women to carry out the Bianca storyline, from the incomparable Eden Riegel to Liz Hendrickson, Tamara Braun, and finally to CBL and SG, who have embarked on a whole other dimension in the Bianca storyline. Aside from the obvious blip in her character under a certain writer-who-shall-not-be-named, Bianca has not only been one of the most beloved and complex characters of soap opera history, but she is also the longest portrayed lesbian character on television. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty damn sure I'm right. 

She is a fuckin' legacy character, a Kane woman through and through, and Agnes Dixon loves her. So suck on that, you self-righteous bigots. (That's right, I'm talking about you, SoapCentral.)
